USB Debug Mode on Android

Android is easy to use, but it has alot of hidden features. Many of these are hidden in the Developer Options menu. These features are important and they come in handy at some point when your device is down, but ofcoarse these features don’t have many uses for the average user. A well-known Android developer feature is "USB Debugging". You may have seen this name floating around and wondered whether you should enable it. Let’s take a look at what this mode is for and whether you need it. USB debug mode, is used when your android device wants to connect and communicate with the PC. It is very important to leave the USB debug mode ON, as an average user this might seem of no use to you,  but when your phone is down who ever is fixing your phone might appreciate that you activated this option.  To turn on USB debug mode on your device,  go to settings. Find " About or About Phone". Under About, look for "Build Number", tap on Build number more than five ti...

Getting Started with Shareit App

Good afternoon. I want to talk about using the share it application, especially getting started with the app. Shareit is used to share videos, music, and apps. Many prefer this app because its simple, clean and it can share apps which are already installed. Alright that being the case, let's say you want to share apps with a friend but they don't have the shareit app. Lucky you, this shouldn't stop you. Open the shareit app on your phone and tap " invite ". The result is a screen displaying two options. Decide if you want to use " bluetooth or hotspot ". For Bluetooth, well then your friend has to turn on their bluetooth. An APK will be sent via bluetooth to the other phone. But in case you choose hotspot, make sure your friend turns on their WIFI and run a scan for an available hotspot. Follow the onscreen instructions displayed on the phone that has shareit app.

The Facebook Messenger

For a while now, but as this month starts, i want to unveil one of my favourite apps, fb messenger. The Facebook Messenger  (styled as " Messenger ") is a messaging application and platform. Many of you know this app as Facebook Chat or the inbox but for a while now this application became standalone iOS and Android apps. Throughout  the years, Facebook has released new apps on a variety of different operating systems, and separated the messaging functionality from the main Facebook app.  Users can send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers, audio, and files, as well as react to other users' messages. The service also supports voice and video calling. The standalone apps support using multiple facebook accounts. The platform also support changing individu chat color and you can also schedule a calender event that can let your alarm go off just in time. Play around the settings and then you can find "c...

Wi-Fi or wifi? What is Wi-Fi? Alot of people are not clear when it comes to explaining what Wi-Fi is and how it works. To learn more about WiFi and understand it better, we will talk of Router , access points and hotspot Wi-Fi is a wireless technology used by Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). How to restore a whatsapp backup (offline)

Yesterday, I was explaining to a friend how to restore whatsapp backup of his chats and history chats. And when I reached out on the blog, I realized, I only wrote how to backup whatsapp chat history. I knew I have to show how to restore this backup on a new phone or any other phone. First of all. You must be familiar with "file manager" app on your phone. Be familiar with a "WhatsApp apk" alright here we go. At this point I'd assume you have your backup files in your memory card (.db.crypt12). This is a backup from your old WhatsApp . 1. Open the file manager [internal storage] , and create a folder named "whatsapp". Inside this folder create "databases " folder. 2. Copy ".db.crypt12" files from the memory card or from any stored location but paste them inside your "databases" folder on the phone memory you created earlier. (whatsapp>databases) 3. Now install "whatsapp.apk" and follow onscreen commands. ...

Tips on getting a suitable handset

Alright today I want to talk about getting a new phone. For a while now I have seen several people complaining about the phone they just bought just days away. To my experience and to avoid complicating things, I'd recommend buying a brand new phone. As this could seem expensive on the down side but it's worthy-while. As obvious this could be, but, I have solid backing points that will sharpen you to understand why and how important, what specifications to look for. Anyone selling a second hand device, is either looking for fast cash or to tie up loose ends. Now in these two how bad do you want to be ripped off? The phone could be damaged and the seller wants to cut down his/her loses through you or undoubtedly the device could be stolen goods! Nobody here wants to be answering murder charges after buying a dead mans phone. And that being said I guess your mind should be made up, let's go "brandnew" Please keep at heart that we are "planning" to get ...

Back it Up!

Hello once again, this is going to be a short and brief post. But nevertheless still carrying an important message. I want to talk about creating a "back up". A back up is a process of creating a copy of your existing data or documents for safe keeping in case of emergency. Just very recently I have come across different computer and mobile handset users, with a near crying and in despair experience depending on how events might have turned out. It's no question, these days we carry our important files in our phone and computers. This way it's very easy for us to edit, print or scan in time as things are needed. As long as everything is okay, we enjoy the trend! But problem comes in when our device crashes or becomes infected with viruses. An expert might have a work around for our problem with the risk of data loss. In my experience, I have always found it hard and time consuming when I'm working on a device problem but the owner instructs me to make a backup...
