Compressing pictures in a Microsoft word document

These days organizations and institutions rely much on evidence based data. Which means every activity carried out has to end with a written report. Keep in mind, a very good report has a couple of pictures in it.  Now that we have established a few facts, the major focus of this article, lies on the pictures. A picture could be more than 30MB depending on quality and the device used to capture the event. For instance, lets assume this event to have over 10 pictures to be included in a report. This barely tells us our document could be more than 300MB. A word document weighing 300MB lol. This is very problematic, because at this point, one won't be able to email this report. What is needed here is some simple compression. The pictures need to be compressed during the time the report is being edited or formatted. Lucky enough this is nothing close to rocket science, and there's totally no need to clutter your computer with so many photo editor applications. You would be surprise...

Kutools

Have you ever been stuck in excel spreadsheets, kufika pothedwa nzeru where by, you have cells consisting of different variables and spaces; to understand where am driving at (see image below)  and you want to split these variables into individual cells respectively (see image below to understand) If we were dealing with a small amount of data in our spreadsheet, I understand one can easily split the contents, manually, thus despite the fact that the operation itself being tiresome and time consuming, but the point is it can be done. However, if we have countless cells, it is clearly impossible to do manually. And that's where the headache comes in. There's a tool called Kutools . This software once installed it becomes present, embedded in the excel menu ribbon. This tool has so many capabilities, but for today, our major focus is splitting contents of cells.  Alright, first we select our data, defining our scope, by highlighting.  Then on the menu ribbon, we select Kuto...

Uncensored Internet.

A friend of mine, the other day approached me. He presented me with an issue about WiFi connection shared by his neighbor. The problem is likely to be familiar to most of us. The thing is, most shared Wi-Fi access has certain websites blocked. You can barely do anything online other than just read through articles from site to site, nothing comes close to downloads. Anyways that's part of my friends problem. However, if you are reading this, today is one of those days. there's a remedy to such Wi-Fi connections. First of all, it is important that we understand what exactly happens here. Who ever administrates these Wi-Fi connections, blacklisted some sites (created a list of restricted sites) and since there are many websites out there, blacklisting is not enough, hence certain media downloads are restricted altogether when ever a download is detected. Now that we have an idea of the inner workings. I'd like to introduce to you a means that can undermine these restrictions ...

How to free up space on your android

It doesn't matter if your Android phone has expandable storage via a microSD card -- you fill up whatever space you're given, whether it's 32GB or 200GB. Here are some easy ways to free up storage on your Android device -- internal storage. ( remember this site shall not be held liable on any data loss ) 1. Clear the cache Many Android apps use; stored -- or cached -- data to give you a better user experience. Cached data can save a little time (and mobile data), but the files stored in app caches are for convenience and are not strictly necessary. If you need to clear up space on your phone quickly, the app cache is the first place you should look. go to  Settings > Applications > Application Manager  and tap on the app you want to modify. In the app's Application info menu, tap  Storage  and then tap  Clear Cache  to clear the app's cache. 2.
